The one thing I love about the summer is that I have time to go back and update some older products. I love having the chance to give them a little face-lift:) I've only had time to update three units but I wanted to let you know so you can go back and download them again.
I also wanted to let you know that after receiving some requests I have a bundled a few of my units. I would love any requests if there are other units you would like to see bundled.
And finally I wanted to let you know that I'm having a sale! So everything will be 20% off in my store on Sunday and Monday. Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support - I truly appreciate it:)
Bye for now,
Natalie

Growth and Changes in Animals
I have wanted to make more science units for ages now but I just didn't have time - I love summer! So this baby ended up being huge and I finally stopped at 209 pages! So may I present my latest creation... Growth and Changes in Animals!
This is probably my favourite science unit because the kids literally eat it up - they love animals!! I found two amazing sellers on TpT that are selling animal photo graphs for commercial use and I bought up a bunch of their photo bundles. You really need to check out their stores - awesome!
(1) Pictures From A Window
(2) Strawberry Shake
I even included 6 different life cycle craftivities - I mean everyone loves a good craftivity!
I seriously tried to cover everything I could in this unit and it will take you about a month to complete. Lots of activities = lots of data for report cards (insert smile).
This baby will be on sale until Thursday, July 24 at midnight so grab it quick!
Thanks for stopping by!
Cheers,
Natalie

Let's Get That Library Organized!
The job of getting your classroom library organized can be daunting at best! I mean where do you even start?! Since I have an "extensive" clip art stockpile collection I literally started making labels for every single theme or topic I could think of:) The end result was that I ended up with 222 different labels! I also made made cards for 4 different leveling systems. I was just having so much fun! I have made 10 different files - with different colour combinations of course! Oh, and I forgot to tell you that I also made label sheets for every theme so that you can print them on Avery #5160 labels and then stick them on the books. It makes organization a dream!
Just click on any of the pictures above and it will take you over to my store:)
And because it is never too late to get organized I am putting all these files on sale for 20% off for tonight and tomorrow!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Daily Sight Words Update
I have wanted to blog for awhile now but I just didn't know how to get started after being away for so long - so I am just jumping back in! We didn't start our summer vacation until June 27 so I am really just getting into the swing of things! But let me tell you - I've had a busy start:)
(1) My daughter, Julia graduated from grade 8 and she turned 14 on July 7 (am I really old enough to have a teenager?!) Here's a picture of her on grad night - I was one proud mama!
(2) We saw Katy Perry in concert and let me tell you - she was amazing!
(3) I was a BIG goof and didn't go to Las Vegas! How sad am I?
Next year for sure!
Now I shouldn't really complain since we leave for Australia in two weeks! We're gone for three weeks and it's going to be an amazing trip - I will be sure to post photos:). We get back one week before school starts so I am frantically trying to get everything ready for September before we leave.
I wanted to let you know that I have done a full update to my Daily Sight Words unit. This unit now covers Fry's First 100 Words. The best part - there is NO PREP! This is a huge packet that consists of 20 weeks of fully illustrated sight word sentences. Each page is a pattern sentence that focuses on a specific sight word. When students are learning these crucial words it is important that they are given the opportunity to practice spelling them and using them in context. The sentences build in complexity as you progress through the unit. You will be delighted with your students progress using this unit!
I have included:
*a description of how I use this resource
*a colourful list for each week that can be displayed in your classroom
*smaller lists that can be put on a ring for individual use
*a sight word booklet to track word mastery
*100 pages of sight word pages
*booklet cover page
Here's a peek:
I have a grade one/two combination class and I use this unit with my grade ones.
I use my other sight word unit Teaching Your Little Monkeys How To Use the Word Wall with my grade twos.
I have been busy making classroom library sets and I'll be back to share them with you tomorrow.
Cheers,
Natalie

Five for Friday ~ Love Style!
Happy Valentine's Day friends! I love today! Not because of the mushy gushy kind of love but because it makes 6 and 7 year olds just so happy! They are simple blissful as they watch their friends drop little cards into their Valentine's bag! It is friendship love pure and simple!
Now that being said this week was LLLLOOONNNNGGGGG! More snow, a horrible cold, report cards, and Valentine's Day all in the same week! Really?!
Have a great weekend! Yippee we get Monday off for Family Day!

Like I said ~ it's been a long week!
I managed to get some pictures so I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday!

This is the magical pile of love that I found on my desk today!
Gotta love them:)
My husband and daughter had this sent to the school today!
It is an edible fruit arrangement!
My kiddos were delighted to share it with me:)
Who can resist chocolate covered strawberries?!
One of my kids brought this yummy treat in today:)
I thought this was such a neat treat that I just had to share!
I don't know what it's called but it's 2 strawberries, 2 marshmallows,
and a 2-bite brownie all drizzled with chocolate.
This one obviously isn't school related but I thought I would
share it anyways:)
My daughter and I love going to our local paint your own
