First Day Name Tags and a Freebie

I am seriously going to make a conscious effort to blog on a regular basis.  I love reading other people's blogs and I want to share my ideas - it is just a time thing.

Any hoooo I am back to school with kiddos on Tuesday.  I went most of the summer without a printer so I have been frantically printing, laminating, and cutting!  Just a crazy way to end the summer!  I will be back next week with photos of my room but I wanted to share the name tags I am giving out on the first day of school.  Kids love things with their names on them because it gives them a feeling of belonging - like you were waiting just for them.

So I bought plastic name tag holders on a string at Staples.  There were 10 in a bag and so I bought 2 bags.  Sorry the picture is sideways:_

The picture isn't the best but trust me they turned out really cute!

I have included first, second, and third grade in the download.  Just click one of the pictures above if you would like a copy.  There are in PowerPoint so you can add your students' names.

Bye for now,

  1. Love the name tags! Thank you! Have a wonderful first week!

  2. Thanks Angie!!
I hope the beginning of the year goes well for you, too!

I just started a new website called Resources4teaching where educators can buy and sell lessons and educational resources. We are new and are looking for people to join and put up their materials for sale on our website. We are having an iPad draw for the first 100 Vendors who join and upload at least 1 lesson /resource for sale on our website. There are absolutely no fees to join and you earn royalties of 70%. You can visit us at:

    Have a great day
